My Story

In 1946 my pregnant, teenage mother was forced to hide her pregnancy (and the family shame) by leaving New York for Los Angeles.

Upon her arrival she quickly learned that her parents had already made arrangements to put her baby up for adoption.

This is the story of my 50 year search to find her and the answers to all my many questions. I could have never imagined where that pursuit would lead me. What I uncovered is not only amazing and wonderful, but also an imaginable, and at times, agonizing.

With all the ups and downs, it was so worth it. It is truly been an amazing journey and one that I am so happy and thankful that I can share with others.
